Great local feeling I’ve been here twice so far and wouldn’t hesitate to come back again. I recommend parking a little north and west of their location if you are trying to find a spot in this hard to park neighborhood. Come hungry the portions are generous and have that home style taste just like the other TC keys location. As a scrambled eggs fanatic....they are good but I’d stick to some of their other specialties.
This was the 1st time my wife and I tried the WBL location. The food and service was excellent. The location in an old building downtown not far from the lake was nice with a parking lot right across the street for diners, very convenient. The best buiscuts & gravy I've ever had. The portions are huge! The price is not cheap but a good value. My wife and I will be back.
Went to the one in white bear lake and it was sooooo nice. My omelet was so big I had to use a spoon to eat it. The French toast was thick and soft and puffy and cinnamony. They kept the coffee coming and it was well priced. I will be back
Celine hosted us for a private event in their upstairs dining room. She was fantastic. So organized, efficient and helpful. Made us feel welcome and at home. The price was right and the food was great.
A downtown favorite! Keys home style cooking does not disappoint in any way. We love having breakfast for lunch, but lunch is just as good. They also serve Morningstar Coffee, which has a pleasant, medium roast, perfect for breakfast. The only reason I wouldn't give 5 stars is the restaurant itself could use a little modernization and the eggs are often overcooked. However you will find a wait on most mornings, and usually a wait for brunch on weekends FOR A REASON. We don't mind waiting. Baked goods are also pretty tasty.
