We were disappointed that the beach was closed for swimming still. There was a team doing some cleaning.
Used to come here a lot 10 years ago and the beach was pristine. Now though the grass patch leading and adjacent to the beach is strewn with goose poop. No chance of a picnic. And there is a decent play structure but as the grass next to it has the goose poop you need to keep an eye on kids.
